We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic eighth season episode "BrotherFromAnother Series" (1997).

After Cecil grabs Bart and throws him off the dam, Sideshow Bob saves him by swinging on the dynamite cord. As Cecil tries to blow up the dam a second time, Bob cuts the wire, preventing its destruction. The two plummet to their death, until Bob lands groin first onto a drainage pipe, where Bart climbs onto a section of the dam and helps Bob up. Bart then asks Bob if he'll stop trying to kill him, and Bob replies in a sinister tone, "Oh, I don't know about that..." Bart gets frightened and Bob replies again but in a normal tone, "Joking, Joking!" The two climb back up the dam while the police arrive.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 19:04 mark. Sideshow Bob, Bart and the dynamite are all hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
