After discovering being scammed - an angry mob enters the Simpsons house, taking all of the family's possessions. In this scene, Comic Book Guy helps himself to the kitchen utensils drawer, stuffing them down the front of his shorts, before leaving.
The Simpsons house is empty, all but a washcloth. Once the townsfolk have disappeared, having been repaid their debts, the family argue over the washcloth. Merry Christmas!

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 20:28 mark. Comic Book Guy is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Miracle on Evergreen Terrace" is the tenth episode of the ninth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on Fox in the United States on December 21st, 1997, and centers on Bart, who inadvertently ruins Christmas for him and the other Simpsons following an incident caused by an attempt to open his presents early.
