We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic twelfth season episode "Treehouse of Horror XI" (2000).

Confident that he will now get into Heaven, Homer returns to St. Peter, who apologizes as he had not been looking during Homer's good deed. Thus Homer is sent to Hell. Homer: (speaking in ghoulish voice, attempts to frighten Satan) "I am Homer Simpson!” Satan: "Silence sinner! Prepare for an eternity of horrible pain!" Homer: "Oh no!” Satan gives Homer noogies and asks him to stop yelling because he'll wake up John Wayne, who it turns out has already gotten up for his day in Hell.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 6:19 mark. Homer, Satan and the flames are all hand-painted onto four separate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Treehouse of Horror XI" is the first episode of the twelfth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons, the 249th episode overall, and the eleventh Halloween episode. The episode features "G-G-Ghost D-D-Dad", "Scary Tales Can Come True" and "Night of the Dolphin" and was written by Rob LaZebnik (story by Mike Scully), John Frink and Don Payne and Carolyn Omine and directed by Matthew Nastuk.
