We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic seventh season episode "Bart on the Road" (1996).

At the nuclear power plant, Homer and Lisa gather around a roaring fire of technical manuals, and play a classic sleepover game of 'Truth or Dare’. Lisa tells Homer she likes Langdon Alger, Homer says he has no idea who that is. "Nobody does," Lisa confesses.  "He's very quiet and enjoys puzzles." But Lisa warns Homer not to tell anyone, but Homer's forgotten his name already. Lisa says, "This has been the best spring break ever!” 

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork zoomed in on screen around the 14:01 mark. Homer and Lisa are hand-painted onto three separate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Bart on the Road" is the twentieth episode of the seventh season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on March 31st, 1996.
In the episode, Bart makes his own fake driver's license and takes Milhouse, Martin, and Nelson on a road trip that goes awry, and Lisa must help them get back home after they become stranded far away from Springfield.
