We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic thirteenth season episode ""Tales from the Public Domain" (2002).
When Hamlet (Bart) thinks Claudius (Moe) is hiding behind a curtain, he shoves a sword right through it. (MAN GROANING) “Ow!”
Hamlet: "Polonius (Chief Wiggum)? What are you doing behind the curtain?" Polonius (Chief Wiggum): "I hide behind curtains 'cause I have a fear
of getting stabbed!" Laertes (Ralph Wiggum): "Daddy's stomach is crying!” Polonius: "Laertes, you gotta do a special big-boy job for Daddy.
I need you to avenge my death!" Laertes (Ralph Wiggum): “I like revenging!”
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel setup (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork which appears on screen around the 20:02 mark. Polonius (Chief Wiggum) & Laertes (Ralph Wiggum) are hand-painted onto three separate cels and placed against the scene matching print background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
