We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel from the classic thirteenth season episode "Little Girl in the Big Ten" (2002).
In an agricultural setting (probably in a Mennonite society), Itchy has run out of butter. As farmer Scratchy visits farmer Itchy (both of them are dressed like Amish men, complete with beards), Itchy takes Scratchy and running into a farm, and shoves Scratchy into a cow's mouth, and an inside view of the cow shows Scratchy being digested by its four stomachs. Itchy milks the digested Scratchy out of the cow and pours the milk into a butter churn to create his own butter, labelled "I Can't Believe It's Not Scratchy!". When he spreads it on his toast, Scratchy's eyeballs are seen, and after saying a quick prayer, Itchy chomps down on the toast.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 14:48 mark. Scratchy and the liquid on all four parts, are hand-painted onto separate cels and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Little Girl in the Big Ten" is the twentieth episode of the thirteenth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on May 12th, 2002. In the episode, Lisa befriends two college students at a gym and attends college with them. Meanwhile, after being bitten by a mosquito from a Chinese-made toy, Bart is infected with the "panda virus" and is placed in a plastic bubble to prevent others from infection.
