Comic Mint is your best source for 100% genuine Simpsons Animation Artwork licensed by Twentieth Century Fox.
We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic thirteenth season episode "Homer the Moe" (2001).

At Moe's Tavern, Homer proves to be a lenient bartender despite the picture of a scowling, shotgun-wielding Moe hanging over the bar.
Lenny, bringing in some food, trips on a barstool, sending the food flying into the ceiling fan, slinging mayo and ketchup all over the place. Lenny says sorry,
but Homer doesn't mind: “For what? A little splattered food never hurt anybody!” Homer tells Lenny, Carl, and Barney to "shut up and dance!"
The gang does so, dancing on the bar as "Wooly Bully” plays on the jukebox!

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel setup (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork which appears on screen around the 7:03 mark. Homer is hand-painted onto two separate cels and placed against the scene matching print background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Homer the Moe" is the third episode of the thirteenth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons.
It first aired on the Fox Network in the United States on November 18th, 2001. In the episode, Moe, following the advice of his former bartending professor, decides to modernize his bar. The bar's new image attracts several customers, but leaves Moe's four regular customers, Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Barney, feeling alienated, which in turn prompts Homer to open his private bar, disguising it as a hunting club to avoid liquor license restrictions.
