Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer MAGILLA GORILLA fans this unique piece of animation art from the classic first season episode "Masquerade Party" (1964).
This is an original production cel created at the HANNA-BARBERA studios in Hollywood, California, featuring Magilla Gorilla dancing with a wealthy lady from the episode “Masquerade Party". Both characters are hand-inked and hand-painted onto a single cel and placed against a background of Melvin Peebles' Pet Shop, the home of Magilla Gorilla. The show was sponsored by the Ideal Toy Company! "How much is that gorilla in the window? Take our advice, at any price, a gorilla like Magilla is mighty nice!" The artwork is in excellent condition, measuring 12.5" by 10.5" inches, and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
Episode Synopsis:
"Masquerade Party" is the 9th episode of the first season of The Magilla Gorilla Show, originally airing November 9th, 1964.
