Comic Mint is pleased to offer Disney fans this special limited edition sericel from the classic, The Three Caballeros (1945). This edition is titled “Three Happy Chappies”, from Sequence 1, Scene 19, features Donald Duck and his Latin American friends Jose Carioca from Brazil and Panchito from Mexico, celebrating their camaraderie as “happy amigos”.

This sericel was released in 2005, as a limited edition of 500 pieces worldwide. The sericel is a reproduction of a hand-inked, hand-painted animation cel master specially created by artists at the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department. Eighteen colours were used to recreate the colour image, each of which has been exactingly screen-printed, one colour at a time, onto the acetate cel.

The background scene accompanying this cel is a fine art recreation printed on acid-free paper. background which was produced from the original production background used in filming. This sericel measures 13" x 10" inches (unframed), and the cel has the special DISNEY studio hologram seal (lower corner) and is accompanied with the official certificate of authenticity.
