Comic Mint is pleased to offer JETSONS fans this long SOLD-OUT limited edition cel entitled "Sunday Drive".
Around the time of the 50-year Hanna-Barbera partnership celebration, the H-B Studios began issuing limited edition, hand-painted cels. "Sunday Drive" was one of the first cels released, and the very first Jetsons item. It's a great, iconic image of the entire Jetson family -- George, Jane, Elroy, Judy, Astro the Dog and Rosie the Robot, all riding in the family's flying car.
The art for this limited edition was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood, by transferring the artist's inking onto an acetate sheet (or "cel"). Each cel was then expertly hand-painted on the reverse side. Each "Sunday Drive" is individually numbered and boldly signed by the late Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
This SOLD-OUT edition was limited to only 300 pieces (worldwide), and is very difficult to find as it was released over 30 years ago. The artwork measures 12.5" by 10.5" inches and is in excellent condition and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
