Comic Mint is pleased to offer Tweety & Sylvester fans this unique piece of animation art entitled "The Last Claw" created by legendary animator Virgil Ross.
Inspired by the 1948 Warner Bros. cartoon, "I Taw A Putty Tat." The image captures a classic confrontation between the always resourceful Tweety and the always hapless Sylvester. Joining in the mayhem is Spike the Bulldog, who completes the triangle of feline fear by marking Sylvester's landing target with an "X".
This edition has been SOLD-OUT for years, as it was released way back in 1996, and is extremely hard to find anymore. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 12.5" by 16.5" inches (unframed). The cel has the official Virgil Ross "Masters Collection Edition" gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
