Comic Mint, is pleased to offer FRIZ FRELENG fans this unique piece of animation art entitled "Mexican Cat Dance".

From the Warner Bros. Friz Freleng Masters Collection, "Arriba! Arriba!" The Fiesta is afoot! The normal enmity between Sylvester and Speedy Gonzales is cast to the four winds in this festive 12 field limited edition cel from famed Warner Bros. director Friz Freleng. Gone are Sylvester's "dethpicable" backfiring schemes and spicy-mice dreams, gone are Speedy's victorious end runs, his brisk in-the-mouth-out-the-tail sprints. Today the nemeses put down the tools of their competition and joyfully dance the Mexican Cat Dance, friends at last... until tomorrow.

This cel was created from an original drawing by animation great FRIZ FRELENG.
The master line image was silkscreened onto a clear acetate sheet (or "cel"). The cel was also silkscreened with the Warner Bros. Masters Collection / Friz Freleng gold seal. The cel was then expertly hand painted on the reverse side, bringing the characters to life with color. The original background design was supervised and approved by the artist, and was reproduced using a lithography process on acid-free paper.
The final step is the hand inking of the edition number on each cel, in an edition of 500 pieces worldwide.

The edition is hand signed by Friz Freleng (1905-1995).
Please note that this is a SOLD-OUT edition, it was released way back in 1995, and is extremely hard to find. The artwork measures 12.5" x 10.5" inches and the artwork is in excellent condition. It is beautifully matted for framing, and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
