We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing from the classic thirteenth season episode "The Frying Game" (2002).
After being found guilty of murdering Myrna, Homer is sentenced to death. Homer is strapped into the electric chair and is about to be executed when it is revealed he is a participant on a new reality TV show called "Frame Up!" The man with the braces is the host. As for Myrna, she's still alive, and isn't an old woman at all, but actually co-host Carmen Electra in disguise!
This is an original 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing, rendered in graphite, featuring Homer strapped into the electric chair. The paper bears a gold Fox seal in the lower corner and is accompanied with a studio-issued COA.
We have provided a screenshot of the scene to show how the drawing was used in the making of this episode, which appears on screen around the 19:17 mark.
PLEASE NOTE:
This screenshot shown is for reference ONLY, and the drawing is NOT accompanied with any full size colour print out.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"The Frying Game" is the twenty-first episode of The Simpsons' thirteenth season. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on May 19, 2002. In the episode, after accidentally injuring an endangered screamapillar, Homer is sentenced to two weeks of community service. As part of his sentence, Homer delivers Meals on Wheels to an old woman called Mrs. Bellamy, who subtly guilts him, and later Marge, into becoming her personal servant. One day, the two find Mrs. Bellamy dead in her house, having been stabbed by a man with braces who quickly escapes the murder scene. Being the only ones present when the police arrive, Homer and Marge are soon suspected for the murder.
