We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this wonderful pair of original illustrations by the legendary Bill Morrison, featuring Homer Simpson (2001) these were released by FOX for two years only, and less than 60 different scenes were created.
Bill Morrison was the only person permitted by Fox and Matt Groening to produce these unique one-of-a-kind drawings that accompany this certificate.

These two individual pieces of art feature a rough drawing of the character and scene rendered in graphite and blue pencil. From the rough drawing, Bill Morrison created a clean-up drawing which he then hand coloured with shades using copic markers. Both pieces are hand-signed by Bill Morrison and bear the embossed Twentieth Century Fox Seal of Authenticity. The artwork is also accompanied with a studio-issued COA. Both drawings are on 12” field animation paper, measuring 10.5” by 12.5” inches.

BILL MORRISON:
In 1990, Bill Morrison was recruited by Fox's Licensing and Merchandising Department to draw THE SIMPSONS for nearly all of the apparel, video games, posters, toy packaging, etc. As a designer for THE SIMPSONS, he has created characters and prop designs for the television show. He has contributed greatly to Matt Groening's publishing endeavors with artwork for THE SIMPSON'S books and calendars. When Matt Groening started Bongo Comics, Bill was hired as co-creator and the art director. He drew the very first Simpson's Comic Book for which he received an Eisner Award. 

Bill was the cover artist, writer and the creative director for Bongo Comics, which released it’s final comic book Simpsons Comics #245, published on October 17th, 2018, bringing a close to the company's 25-year run. Bill was also the key artist and creative force in developing Futurama's iconic character designs alongside creator Matt Groening.
