We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing featuring a great image of Lisa Simpson biting into a tofu dog, from the classic seventh season episode Lisa the Vegetarian" (1995).
Lisa runs to the Kwik-E Mart, and sees a sign in the window saying "Premiere Gourmet Hot Dogs 8/99 cents.” Lisa: "The whole world wants me to eat meat. I can't fight it anymore. (She musters her resolve and bites into a hot dog, and yells) There! Is everybody happy now?" Apu: (appears after she takes a bite) I take it from your yelling that you like my tofu dogs?" Lisa: "Tofu?”
This is an original 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing, rendered in graphite pencil on paper. The paper bears a gold Fox seal in the lower corner and is accompanied with a studio-issued COA.
We have provided a screenshot of the scene to show how the drawing was used in the making of this episode, which appears on screen around the 17:52 mark.
