We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing featuring Homer Simpson from the classic thirteenth season episode "Gump Roast" (2002).
A feather floats down from the sky and lands in Springfield town square next to Homer’s feet. Much like Forrest Gump, Homer is dressed in a white suit, sitting rigidly on a bench with a box of chocolates in his lap. Chief Wiggum tells Homer about a new law that states citizens are forbidden to impersonate movie characters. Wiggum asks Homer what he’s doing here, Homer replies that he is waiting for his wife, and then begins to tell Wiggum his life story.
This is an original 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing, rendered in graphite and coloured pencil. The paper bears a gold Fox seal in the lower corner and is accompanied with a studio-issued COA.
We have provided a screenshot of the scene to show how the drawing was used in the making of this episode, which appears on screen around the 1:08 mark.
PLEASE NOTE:
This screenshot shown is for reference ONLY, and the drawing is NOT accompanied with any full size colour print out.
