We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing featuring Montgomery Burns, from the classic fifth season episode "Burns’ Heir" (1994).
It’s audition time at Burns' estate, where every young boy in Springfield is there with his parents, including Martin, Milhouse, Ralph, and Bart. In his private auditorium, Mr. Burns sits in a row by himself, the illustrious Smithers holding a clipboard behind him. Martin: (walks out as music begins) “Clang, clang, clang went the trolley! Ring, ring, ring went the bell! Zing, zing, zing went my heartstrings... oof!” (Nelson walks on the stage and belts him) Burns: "Thank you! Give the bully an extra point!"
This is an original 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing, rendered in graphite and coloured pencil. The paper bears a gold Fox seal in the lower corner and is accompanied with a studio-issued COA.
We have provided a screenshot of the scene to show how the drawing was used in the making of this episode, which appears on screen around the 5:03 mark.
PLEASE NOTE:
This screenshot shown is for reference ONLY, and the drawing is NOT accompanied with any full size colour print out.
