We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic thirteenth season episode "Weekend at Burnsie’s" (2002).
This scene features Bill Clinton addressing the shareholders at a crisis meeting at the Nuclear Power Plant. Bill Clinton: “So when somebody says I was an embarrassment to the country, I say it depends on what the meaning of "was" is, jerk. You owe me two hundred thousand dollars. Goodnight, everybody!” Homer (addressing the audience): “Bill Clinton, everyone! He's Jimmy Carter with a Fox attitude!”
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork zoomed in on screen around the 19:35 mark. Bill Clinton is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Weekend at Burnsie's" is the sixteenth episode of the thirteenth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It first aired in the United States on the Fox network on April 7th, 2002. In the episode, Homer Simpson is prescribed medicinal marijuana after getting pecked in the eyes by a murder of crows. While his family and friends worry about the drug altering his personality, Homer becomes Mr. Burns's vice president after cracking up at Burns's antiquated jokes.
