We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel setup, from the classic eighth season episode ""The Twisted World of Marge Simpson" (1997).
When Marge does a pretzel delivery down an uninhabited desert road, her car gets knocked off the road by Fat Tony's limo.
Fat Tony walks up to the car, leans into Marge's window, and introduces himself as a business partner, claiming he is entitled to a part of Marge's profits, around 100%. Fat Tony: "You have 24 hours to give us our money. And to show you we're serious... you have 12 hours!"
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel setup (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork which appears on screen around the 18:26 mark. Fat Tony is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against the matching scene print background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"The Twisted World of Marge Simpson" is the eleventh episode of the eighth season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on January 19th, 1997. The episode guest stars Jack Lemmon as Frank Ormand and Joe Mantegna as Fat Tony.
In the episode, Marge falls out with the Springfield Investorettes over their risky practices and she invests in a fledging pretzel franchise out of spite. However she struggles to stay in business and Homer resorts to desperate measures to help her.
