We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic sixth season episode # "Sideshow Bob Roberts" (1994).

Bart and Lisa meet with a person that has information about the crooked electoral campaign involving Sideshow Bob. A shadowy figure with a cigarette approaches them:

Man: "You're on the right track. Follow the names”
Bart: "How the hell do you know?
Man: (takes a drag) "I can't tell you who I am, but I worked on the campaign”
Homer: (pulling up in car, shines headlights) "Hey, Mr. Smithers!”
Smithers: "Well, you might as well give me a ride home now! (in the car) I've never gone behind Mr. Burns' back before, but Sideshow Bob's ultra-conservative views, er, conflict with my…. choice of lifestyle. All I can do is give you one name: Edgar Neubauer. Find him, and you'll find your answer"

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Simpsons episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork!

The animation cel measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

"Sideshow Bob Roberts" is the fifth episode of The Simpsons' sixth season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on October 9th, 1994.
In this episode Kelsey Grammer returns as Sideshow Bob, who wins the Springfield mayoral election through electoral fraud. The inspiration for this episode was drawn from the Watergate scandal, and included many cultural references to political films, as well as real-life events. These included the film All the President's Men and the first televised debate between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy during the 1960 United States presidential election.
