We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE and VINTAGE hand painted original production cel, from the classic SIMPSONS season three episode # "Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk" (1991).

Here is one of the most CLASSIC Simpsons scenes ever !!!!
A sensational vintage cel of Homer in the Land of Chocolate, about to take a bite from a chocolate dog he’s just spotted !!!

The Land of Chocolate is a land imagined by Homer when German businessmen bought the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and, during an interview, tell Homer they came from "the Land of Chocolate", referring to Germany. It is entirely made of chocolate, including houses, postlights, paths, rivers and even chocolate rabbits and dogs, and in a part called "Fudgetown" chocolate fudge rains.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Simpsons episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork!

The animation cel measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

"Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk" is the eleventh episode of The Simpsons' third season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on December 5th, 1991.
In this episode Burns decides to retire and sells the power plant to a German consortium for an exorbitant price. Homer's laziness and inefficiency are quickly exposed by his new bosses, and he is laid off.
