We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel from the classic tenth season episode "D'oh-in' in the Wind" (1998).
Barney Gumble stands next to his refrigerator after guzzling a bottle of juice which causes intense psychedelic hallucinations in those who drink it, causing him to see a greyish goblin dancing menacingly upon his couch. Panicking, Barney tosses back a Duff, at which point he is saved by a large pink elephant that comes through his front door, crushing the creature. Barney: "Oh! Thanks, Pinky! You've always been there for me!”
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 19:09 mark. Barney holding the Duff can is hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.
This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.
