Ren and Stimpy Show “The Big Shot" Production Drawing Animation Art (1991).

From the Season One episode directed by John Kricfalusi, this great drawing features Ren and Stimpy about to embrace.

The doorbell rings, and Ren walks over to the door, depressed, and turns the handle. He opens the door and looks surprised, rubbing his eyes in disbelief. Stimpy stands at the door dressed as a hobo and carrying a knapsack.
Ren: (tears in his eyes) “Pal?" Stimpy: (shyly) “Buddy?” (Ren blinks and his tears fall to the floor. Then he springs up in excitement, arms outstretched)
Ren: "PAL! Stimpy: (arms outstretched) “BUDDY!" (Ren and Stimpy hug each other)

This is a one-of-a-kind piece that was used in the making of this Ren & Stimpy episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see where this drawing was used to create the finished cel, which appears on screen around the 07:34 mark. We have provided a screenshot of the scene as reference.

This drawing was rendered in graphite and blue and red pencil on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper, with some animation notations. The drawing has some minor handling and wear, but otherwise is in good condition. The drawing measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide with three-peg punch holes. It has the official Nickelodeon embossed seal imprinted on the paper, and is accompanied with the Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity.

Episode Synopsis:
"The Big Shot" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on August 11th, 1991 and was the second episode in the series. Stimpy enjoys living his new life in Hollywood, and becomes a big star, but after a while, they both start to miss each other and eventually Stimpy gives up all of the money and fame to see Ren again.
