We are pleased to offer Ren & Stimpy fans the ONLY title background that exists featuring the ‘REN & STIMPY’ Title Logo with the original illustration of Stimpy, applied to a cel overlay. The original illustration of Ren’s head, did not survive after production, so a reproduction of Ren has been applied to a cel overlay.

The artwork was filmed and used at the end of John Kricfalusi’ masterpiece "Space Madness" (1991), widely regarded as the BEST episode ever.

There are no other ‘Ren & Stimpy’ logo backgrounds in existence !!!!

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Ren & Stimpy episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork, which appears on screen around the 10:56 mark, with the background on screen for 10 seconds.

The background artwork is painted in gouache on board, and measures 10.5 inches by 13.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes. There is also a clear cel overlay which bears the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner).
The artwork is accompanied by the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity and is in very good condition.

Episode Synopsis:
"Space Madness" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on September 8th, 1991 and was the fifth episode in the series. Commander Hoek & Cadet Stimpy go into Space for a long mission. Commander Hoek is starting to go insane from being in space for so long, but belives that Cadet Stimpy is suffering from that problem... otherwise known as 'Space Madness.'
