The Ren and Stimpy Show “Stimpy’s Big Day" Production Cel Setup (1991).
We are pleased to offer Ren & Stimpy fans this original production cel setup from the classic John Kricfalusi 1st Season episode "The Boy Who Cried Rat!" (1991).
Stimpy (The house cat) holds up Ren (disguised as a mouse), as the owner of the house, Mr. Pipe, confronts them:
Mr. Pipe: "Hey, cat!" (Stimpy reaches for the doorknob, but stops and turns around) "Aren't you gonna eat that mouse?" (Ren and Stimpy both look shocked and Stimpy's hat deflates) Well, go ahead. Put him in your mouth !!!!”
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted cel setup which was filmed and used in the making of this episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen. The animation cel measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and have the three-peg punch holes, and bear the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner). The cel is placed against the matching scene print background and accompanied with the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity.

"Stimpy's Big Day" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on August 11th, 1991 and was the first episode in the series. After winning a Gritty Kitty poem contest, Stimpy goes to Hollywood, leaving Ren feeling lonely.
