We are pleased to offer Ren & Stimpy fans this original production cel setup from the classic second season episode "In the Army" (1992).
This funny scene is from the episode “IN THE ARMY”, and occurs at the army base, where an announcement is made over the PA system:
"Recruits Ren and Stimpy, report for teargas training, duhhh!" Ren: "Teargas Room?” (Ren and Stimpy smell the gas and are both disgusted) Pee-yew! I'll tell you, man, there's nothing to get me in there! (Stimpy shakes his head in agreement).
They both walk off to the right and bump into the Drill Sergeant who is sitting on a cannon.
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted cel setup which was filmed and used in the making of this episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen. The characters are comprised of two seperate animation cels measuring 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and have the three-peg punch holes, and has the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner).
The cels are placed against the matching scene background and is issued with a certificate of authenticity (as pictured).
Episode Synopsis:
"In the Army" is a second season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on August 15th, 1992, and was the first episode of the season. Ren and Stimpy enlist in the army, unaware of all the obstacles to overcome with a big, bossy sarge, though they end up passing and entering a war.
