We are pleased to offer this sensational studio publicity cel, which recreates one of the great scenes from “The Ren & Stimpy Show”.
This memorable image from the episode “BLACK HOLE”, features Commander Ren Hoek & Cadet Stimpy. Having been teleported to another universe through the black hole, Ren & Stimpy travel around trying to find a way out. They both mutate hideously into other eerie forms, and in this scene, they wander through the alien landscape with giant, inflated heads.
Both characters are hand-inked and hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against the scene matching giclee background which appears on screen around the 04:08 mark.
The artwork measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and is in excellent condition, and bears the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner) and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Episode Synopsis:
"Black Hole" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on February 23rd, 1992, and was the twelfth episode in the series. In this episode, Commander Hoek and Cadet Stimpy are sucked into the hideous vortex of a black hole and have to deal with the atmosphere making them go crazy.
