X-Men: The Animated Series:
X-Men set an unprecedented standard for Saturday morning action cartoons with its mature themes and long-form serialized storytelling. Even the opening titles sequence set the show apart from the cartoons that came before it with a lyric less and memorable theme song and heart pounding sequences of character-showcasing action.
The series aired in the United States for five seasons from October 31st, 1992, to September 20th, 1997, on Fox's Fox Kids programming block It was produced by Marvel Entertainment and Saban Entertainment.
