Moose and Squirrel fans, here's something we KNOW you're really gonna like! It's that classic scene from near the original show's opening sequence, with Rocky and Bullwinkle popping up out of the ground along with some oversized daisies!
This classic scene has been nicely recreated by both Universal Studios Animation Art and Jay Ward Productions. Produced as a hand-painted 16 field limited-edition cel titled "Pushing Up Daisies", this piece is difficult to find as it has been sold out for over 30 years. Rocky was famously voiced on this five-season program (known then as Rocky and His Friends when on ABC, and The Bullwinkle Show after moving to NBC) by the First Lady of Animation, June Foray (1917 - 2017), and she hand-signed the cel in the lower right.
The cel has the Jay Ward Productions seal is in the lower left corner, along with the final number 200 out of a small edition size of 200.
The cel measures 16.5” inches wide by 13.5” inches high, and is complemented by a colourful lithographed background on museum quality stock. The artwork is accompanied with the matching numbered certificate of authenticity.
