Jay Ward Productions produced some of the classic cartoon characters of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
These include Rocky and Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha, Dudley Do-Right, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, George of the Jungle, Super Chicken and Tom Slick. We are pleased to offer our collectors a nice selection of rare Jay Ward limited edition and scene cels as well as a few original production pieces.

Ahoy! Here is a nice set of original hand-inked, hand-painted trimmed production cels featuring Cap'n Crunch and Brunhilde, with a funny looking tree. The cels are applied to a coloured sheet of paper, and the cels have been trimmed to a size of 10” by 8” inches, and are in their original Jay Ward Studio mat with an opening of 7" by 9" inches. The artwork is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
Captain Crunch (who closely resembles Jay Ward) debuted as spokesperson for Quaker Oats in 1963. Since then and until the early 1980s, the Jay Ward Studio produced animated television commercials featuring the jaunty little Cap'n and his young crew Alfie, Brunhilde, Carlisle, Dave, and Seadog. These commercials were often more engaging than the Saturday morning cartoons they interrupted and are beloved by Jay Ward fans to this day. Because Jay Ward TV series such as Bullwinkle were animated in Mexico and virtually all production art used to make them was destroyed, artwork from commercial productions and scene cels sold at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium in Hollywood.
