Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer Hanna-Barbera fans this sensational publicity cel featuring Top Cat and his gang (from left to right) Brain, Spook, Choo Choo, Fancy Fancy and Benny the Ball.

The artwork was created in the 1990’s at the HANNA-BARBERA STUDIO in Hollywood, California, as part of part of a marketing/publicity/Consumer Products project. The characters are all hand painted and hand-inked onto a single cel, and placed against a print background. Slides and transparencies are created from the art and sent to magazines and newspapers to gather interest in a series. Photos are also sent to fans who write into the studio requesting a photo. Cels such as this are EXTREMELY RARE and were NEVER made available in stores, so finding a cel such as this one with the main cast is virtually impossible!

Top Cat is an American animated comedy television series created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. It aired from September 27, 1961, to April 18, 1962, for a single season of 30 episodes. Life in a New York alley was never as much fun as in this 1961 animated series that follows the many get-rich-quick schemes of a band of streetwise felines. Top Cat, a clever hustler whose close friends get to call him TC, leads his faithful followers Benny the Ball, Choo Choo, Brain, Fancy-Fancy and Spook in assorted scams, gambling activities and harebrained stunts, all in the pursuit of a fast dollar. Keeping an eye on things is Officer Dibble, a beat cop who has his hands full trying to break up TC's shenanigans.
