This is the RARE hand painted limited edition animation cel entitled "Scooby-Doo Where Are You!" (1995), signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
Scooby Doo and his ghost-busting pals, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma, are off in dogged pursuit of another spooky villain in the first limited edition to ever be based on the classic Scooby Doo show. It's the very first Hanna-Barbera art edition ever to contain a title card, and it's also the first cel to include Velma and Freddy, the brains and the brawn of Mystery, Inc.
The title card (which was actually created before the theme song was written) is a silk-screened 12 field cel set against an 18-color serigraph background, while it's companion artwork consists of a hand-painted panoramic cel placed against a 25-color serigraph background. This edition meticulously recreates the original opening sequence from the vintage 1969 television series "Scooby-Doo Where Are You!".
The artwork was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood, in a hand-numbered edition of 250 pieces (worldwide), and has been hand-signed by creators, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The cel is numbered 197 out of 250.
This SOLD-OUT edition has the official Hanna-Barbera Studio seal in the lower corner, and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
