Comic Mint, is pleased to offer Hanna-Barbera fans this outstanding hand painted limited edition animation cel entitled "Jetson’s Spacemobile" (1989).
The whole Jetson family is out for a ride in the Spacemobile in this early and long sold-out Hanna-Barbera limited edition cel. Often confused with similar editions that followed ("Sunday Drive" and "Joy Ride") this was the first and rarest Jetsons limited edition to be released. Limited to just 300 copies, it was an instant sell-out and very few have ever returned to the market.
The art for this limited edition was created at the Hanna Barbera studio in Hollywood. The original drawing was hand-inked, then the master inking printed onto a sheet of exlar film through the silk-screening process . Each cel was then hand-painted using original Hanna-Barbera colors, and applied to a fine art giclee print background. The cel is signed by Bill Hanna (1910 - 2001) and Joe Barbera (1911 - 2006).
The artwork measures 12.5" by 10.5" inches and it has the official Hanna-Barbera Studio seal in the lower corner, and is issued with a certificate of authenticity.
