Comic Mint is pleased to offer JESSICA RABBIT fans this RARE and sold-out piece of Disney history. "Jessica's Debut" is an outstanding hand inked and painted limited edition cel authentically reproduced by the world-famous Disney Ink and Paint Department.

Jessica Rabbit, is the star of the 1988 Walt Disney classic film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". Jessica Rabbit, Roger's sultry and faithful wife, famously quipped in the film "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." The limited edition cel Jessica's Debut features Jessica on stage at The Ink and Paint Club where she headlines as a cartoon singer.
This piece instantly SOLD-OUT all 500 pieces on its release in 1993. It is displayed over a copy of the background of the scene.
Issued in 1993, this piece has been stored in it's original Cotton-Linen, Acid-Free Portfolio Envelope, as issued by Disney. The artwork is unblemished, and shines as it's been protected with tissue paper for twenty years!

This SOLD-OUT edition size was 500 (worldwide) with this piece being numbered 129/500. This cel bears the Disney embossed seal in the lower corner. Comes with the original issued photographic background of the 'Ink and Paint Club Stage' (which is NOT animated, but a physical live set). The cel measures 17" inches across by 12.5" inches high, and comes with the original Disney Studio Certificate of Authenticity.

This piece was meticulously hand painted by a Disney artist on the reverse side of the cel, just like a production cel would be. Specifically to this piece, a Disney artist added special painted enhancements to the front of Jessica's dress, as in the movie, the Sparkles were added by computer. In this case, the Sparkles had to be painted, with some being airbrushed with hand enhancements. This really is a beautiful piece of artwork.
