Joe Staton Metal Men #54 Page 29 Original Art (DC, 1977).
Has the Green Lantern truly slain most of the Metal Men? This closing page to the story "After the Ending" encouraged readers to pick up the subsequent issue in order to find out. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 13.75" inches. There is some minor production tape staining in the top and bottom margins, otherwise the artwork is in excellent condition. The page is signed by Joe Staton in the lower margin.

Story Synopsis:
The Metal Men leave Doc and become independent, against General Caspar's orders. Green Lantern thinks that the Missile Men are under the control of the Metal Men.
