DEAN YOUNG
Dean Wayne Young (born July 2, 1938) is the head writer of the popular comic strip Blondie, which he inherited from his father Chic Young, who died in 1973.

JIM RAYMOND
Jim Raymond (1917–1981) was a comic strip artist and the younger brother of Flash Gordon artist Alex Raymond. He was also the great-uncle of actors Matt Dillon and Kevin Dillon. Raymond began a long association with the Blondie strip, beginning as an art assistant to Chic Young in 1935. By 1938, Raymond took over much of the art chores from Young, and in 1950, due to Chic's diminishing eyesight, Raymond permanently became the lead artist of Blondie and began to develop the distinctive style that the strip uses to this day.
