Froot Loops Toucan Sam TV Commercial Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1970's).
"Follow my nose! It always knows... the flavor of fruit, wherever it goes!" sings Toucan Sam, the iconic mascot of Kellogg's Fruit Loops cereal. This fragrant breakfast treat has been around since 1963, with most commercials featuring the toucan with a Ronald Coleman accent (the earliest commercials were voiced by Mel Blanc). This is a hand-painted production cel of Toucan Sam holding a Froot Loops box! The print background has been added for presentation purposes.
The animation for this commercial was produced by Hanna-Barbera and directed by legendary animator Art Babbitt. The artwork comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Art Babbitt Estate, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity.
From the Art Babbitt Archives.
