The classic story of an astronaut, Tony Nelson, who finds a 2000-year-old blonde genie in a bottle after a flight. Jeannie turns out to be mischievous, a little innocent and very much in love with her master.
For fans of this classic series, here is an unforgettable image of astronaut Tony Nelson stepping out from his space capsule to be greeted by the beautiful Jeannie from her bottle, based on the animated titles sequence which was created by DePatie-Freleng Studios for Screen Gems.
Tony, Jeannie and her bottle have been painstakingly hand-inked and hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against the scene matching giclee print background, which appears on screen around the 00:22 mark. The characters measure 8” inches in height by 5.25” inches in width and the artwork is issued with a certificate of authenticity (as pictured).
