Comic Mint is pleased to offer CHUCK JONES fans this unique piece of animation art featuring Michigan J. Frog in this RARE sold out 12 field cel titled: "Michigan J. Frog (III)". The cel is hand signed by Chuck Jones (September 21, 1912 – February 22, 2002).

This edition of 200 pieces (worldwide) is very RARE, and has been SOLD-OUT for over three decades, as it was released way back in 1987. This edition is the third in a series of Chuck's Michigan J. Frog limited edition cels that he would produce, and is almost impossible to find for sale. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 12.5" x 10.5" inches (unframed).

The cel has the official Linda Jones gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.

Michigan J. Frog is an animated cartoon character who debuted in the Looney Tunes cartoon One Froggy Evening (December 31, 1955), written by Michael Maltese and directed by Chuck Jones. In this cartoon, Michigan is a male frog who wears a top hat, carries a cane, sings pop music, ragtime, Tin Pan Alley hits, and other songs from the late 19th and early 20th century while dancing and performing acrobatics in the style of early 20th century vaudeville. He appeared in a later cartoon entitled Another Froggy Evening which was released on October 6, 1995.
His name comes from the song "The Michigan Rag" (an original song written by Jones, Maltese and musical director Milt Franklyn), which he sings in the cartoon.
