Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this rare animation production drawing featuring Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers from the Chuck Jones TV Special "Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24½th Century" (1980).
Duck Dodgers stands at the helm of his ship, shortly before crashing into the eggshell-shaped planet inhabited by Marvin the Martian, in this sequel to the 1953 Chuck Jones directed film "Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century".
This is a one-of-a-kind original production drawing that was used in the making of this film. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork at approximately the 1:44 mark. We have provided a screenshot to show as reference where the drawing was used.
The drawing is in graphite with blue pencil underneath on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. There are some animators notes and D-46 is written in the lower right hand corner. The image of Daffy measures 5.5” by 3” inches and other than minor edge wear, the drawing is in fine condition. The cel bears the official Linda Jones gold seal (lower corner) and is from the CHUCK JONES ARCHIVES.
