We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic sixth season episode "Who Shot Mr. Burns? Part One" (1994).

Burns’ reveals his dastardly plan to Smithers “Imagine it Smithers, electrical lights and heaters running all day long!
Smithers: "But Sir! Every plant and tree will die, owls will deafen us with incessant hooting...the town's sundial will be useless…. I don't want any part of this project, it's unconscionably fiendish!”
Burns: “I will not suffer your insubordination. There has been a shocking decline in the quality and quantity of your toadying, Waylon. And you will fall into line, now!”

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 13:54 mark. The characters are hand-painted onto three seperate cels, and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Who Shot Mr. Burns?" is a two-part episode of the American animated television series The Simpsons. Part One is the twenty-fifth and final episode of the sixth season and originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on May 21st, 1995, while Part Two is the season premiere of the seventh season and aired on September 17th, 1995.
Springfield Elementary School strikes oil, but Mr. Burns steals it and at the same time brings misery to many of Springfield's citizens. Part One has a cliffhanger ending where Mr. Burns is shot by an unidentified assailant. In Part Two, Springfield's police try to find the culprit, with their main suspects being Waylon Smithers and Homer Simpson.
