COMMENTS
Bob White “Laugh” #161 Title Splash Page 11 Original Art (Archie, 1964).
A great page from the classic story “Cleans Up!” featuring Veronica Lodge on the phone speaking to Reggie Mantle. This large-size gem is a fine example from artist Bob White and is ink over graphite on Bristol board. The image area measures 12" x 17.5” inches the artwork and is in excellent condition.

Please note the comic book image is provided as reference, and is not sold with the artwork.

Story Synopsis:
Reggie bets Veronica that Archie will stand her up for her date; He talks Archie into going skinny-dipping at a pond, then makes off with Archie's clothes.

Robert “Bob” White (1928-2005), was one of the Archie line’s signature artists during its peak period (pretty squarely 1959 to 1965) and crafting uncluttered, expertly-designed covers and stories.
