Dan DeCarlo Archie Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-20-81 (King Features Syndicate, 1981).
In this funny strip, Jughead asks Archie what’s bugging him, and Archie despairs about the cost of living. Betty proclaims that money doesn’t go as far as it used to, to which Jughead explains his coin rolled all the way to the end of the school hall. Just another great daily by the man who helped define the look of the kids from Riverdale for decades to come, Dan DeCarlo.
Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area which measures 19" x 5.25" inches, the strip is signed by Dan DeCarlo in the third panel. The artwork is in very good condition and has the Archie Comic Publications stamp on the back (see image).
