Comic Mint is pleased to offer FRIZ FRELENG fans this unique piece of animation art featuring Bugs Bunny & Yosemite Sam in a classic scene from the theatrical short "Southern Fried Rabbit" (1952).

If that ain't the li'l ol' South! With the carrot supply low in the North Bugs is Alabama bound upon hearing of a record carrot crop. In this scene dressed as a union soldier, Bugs antagonizes Colonel Sam of the Confederate Army.

This edition of 750 pieces (worldwide) has been SOLD-OUT for nearly three decades, as it was released way back in 1992, and is very hard to find. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 16" x 13" inches (unframed). The cel is hand signed by Friz Freleng (1905-1995).
The cel has the official Warner Brothers gold seal (upper left corner), and is accompanied with a letter of authenticity.

Southern Fried Rabbit is a Looney Tunes cartoon by Warner Bros. starring Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. Directed by Friz Freleng and produced in 1952, the animated short was first released on May 2, 1953.
In it, Bugs Bunny attempts to shake off Yosemite Sam (here, cast as a Civil War-era colonel), who is preventing him from crossing the Mason-Dixon Line.
