Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this original production layout featuring Granny and Daffy Duck from the Friz Freleng theatrical feature "Looney, Looney, Looney Bugs Bunny Movie" (1981).

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-pencilled layout drawing used to produce the bridging sequences in this classic motion picture.
Layouts are the second step in the animation process. The FRIZ FRELENG production team use theses more detailed pages to determine exactly how they want the characters to look, as well as plan for the timing and dialogue. This layout features great comedic moments featuring Granny and Daffy which make it onto the big screen.

This layout drawing is rendered in graphite and coloured pencil on 12" field animation paper measuring 12.5" x 10.5" inches. The artwork is in excellent condition, and has the official Warner Bros. Animation Department stamp at the bottom of the layout.

This is the second feature-length film containing classic Warner Brothers cartoons linked together by newly animated footage. It is divided into three parts, all of which are being shown in a theater as part of a film ceremony honoring the classic Looney Tunes characters. In Part 3, Bugs introduces us to the Oswald Awards, and then hosts the ceremony himself, announcing the nominees - the Wolf from Three Little Bops, , Sylvester & Tweety, and himself. During all this, Daffy Duck continually gripes about the fact that he's not being nominated. When Bugs wins the award, Daffy becomes furious and challenges Bugs to a talent showdown. Bugs seems to have the audience's favor, but Daffy eventually wins their applause by blowing himself up. Bugs gives the now-ghostly Daffy the award, with the duck responding "It just goes to show you, you gotta kill yourself to win an Oswald in this town!"
