COMMENTS
Comic Mint is your best source for 100% genuine Simpsons Animation Artwork licensed by Twentieth Century Fox. We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding hand painted original master background of the iconic "NUCLEAR POWER PLANT", from the classic SIMPSONS season ten episode # "Mom and Pop Art" (1999). These are the rarest of rare, when it comes to Simpsons animation art, as these are "hold" or "freeze" shots. There are no overlays or other movements to these scenes, and often these are re-used in other episodes. These are iconic images of the most famous and familiar of Springfield locations!

The animation cel measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner).

The artwork is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Mom and Pop Art" is the nineteenth episode of The Simpsons' tenth season. It was first aired on the Fox network in the United States on April 11th, 1999.
In this episode, Homer inadvertently becomes a well-praised outsider artist after his failed attempts to build a barbecue pit. His exhibit goes to the Louvre, and after Mr. Burns buys his artwork, Homer becomes a success. However, after his new art appears in the "Art in America" show, Homer's artwork is criticized for being too repetitive of his first piece. After his recent failure, Homer tries to devise something groundbreaking, after hearing of Christo's art.
