We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE VINTAGE hand painted original production cel, from the classic and critically acclaimed SIMPSONS season five episode # "Deep Space Homer" (1994).

Sensational image of Homer hanging onto the door handle of the Space Shuttle!
This scene follows after astronauts Race Banyon and Buzz Aldrin prepare the shuttle to be evacuated of air. Buzz pushes the button with a "Make hatch blow now!” The ants and chips get sucked out, as planned, and Homer (who has forgotten to attach his seat belt) gets sucked out towards the hatch. Luckily, he manages to grab the handle of the door, but it bends under the strain. Homer hangs outside the shuttle still, and the handle finally gives in and snaps off. Fortunately, Buzz and Race are there to grab him.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece that was filmed under the camera, and used in the making of this Simpsons episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork!

The animation cel measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and has the three-peg punch holes, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
