COMMENTS
We are pleased to offer PEANUTS fans this unique piece of animation art entitled: "Joe Cool".

From the TV special "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" (1972), Joe Cool can't pass up a good photo op! Here he strikes a pose with a surprised Linus as Schroeder snaps away.

This Hand Painted Limited Edition Cel was created by the late Bill Melendez and the artists at his studio. Each hand inked limited edition cel is hand painted with a reproduction background. A Melendez limited edition is individually numbered, bears the Peanuts Film Gallery seal of authenticity and features the signature of Bill Melendez.

This piece was produced in an edition size of 250 pieces (worldwide) and has been SOLD-OUT for nearly two decades and is very hard to find. The artwork measures 10.5" x 12.5" inches (unframed).

STORYLINE:
With the school election looming, Linus is talked into running for school president. With Lucy and Charlie Brown as his campaign manager and Snoopy and Woodstock assisting, he stands a decent chance of victory. Soon however, he makes unrealistic promises and learns the hard way that preaching about the Great Pumpkin cannot be considered a sound campaign strategy.
