COMMENTS
We are pleased to offer PEANUTS fans this unique piece of animation art entitled: "Dog Gone Commercial" which was created under the artistic direction of animation director, Lawrence Leichliter, at Bill Melendez Productions, Inc., in association with Lee Mendelson Productions and Charles M. Schulz's Creative Associates in 2015.

Larry designed this limited edition capturing the crux of Charlie Brown's Christmas dilemma, realisation that Snoopy has gone commercial and WINS!

"Dog Gone Commercial" animation cel is hand-inked and hand-painted, and mounted on a giclee background print.
The background was replicated on 315 gsm 100% cotton rag paper from an original hand-painted background especially prepared for this limited edition. Created on Arches Velin Museum Rag paper, this rare 1965 layout drawing was reproduced using the finest archival inks.

Preserving a treasured moment in the Peanuts television debut, "Dog Gone Commercial" has been fashioned in the finest tradition of Bill Melendez Productions, Inc.
A Charlie Brown Christmas originally aired on Thursday evening, December 9th, 1965.
A Peanuts limited edition is individually numbered and bears the Peanuts Film Gallery seal of authenticity and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.

This piece was produced in a small edition size of 65 piece (worldwide) and the cel artwork measures 12.75" x 9.75" inches (unframed).
