Comic Mint, is pleased to offer Hanna-Barbera fans this RARE hand painted limited edition animation cel entitled "Yogi On A Rocket" (1988).

This is a RARE Artists Proof featuring Yogi and Boo Boo Bear, and what makes this cel different from the rest of the edition is that the entire scene is hand painted, the characters are NOT placed against a printed background. This cel, as well as the regular cels part of the 300 edition, have been SOLD-OUT for more than three decades. The artwork measures 12.5" by 10.5" inches and it has been hand-signed by Yogi's creator, Bill Hanna..

Yogi (“Smarter than your average bear!”) Bear made his debut in 1958 as a supporting character in The Huckleberry Hound Show. Yogi Bear was the first Hanna-Barbera breakout character eventually getting his own series in 1961, “The Yogi Bear Show.” Most of the cartoons take place in Jellystone Park, where Yogi concocts schemes to steal picnic baskets from campers, or to escape from the park, much to the annoyance of Park Ranger Smith. Other recurring characters are Boo-Boo Yogi’s champion and Cindy his girlfriend.
